EVENTS FROM OUR PAST 2016

Dia de los Muertos or All Souls Day Celebration

On October 30th, we celebrated Dia de los Muertos or All Souls Day

by gathering for a meal and fellowship. The church alter was transformed into a beautiful space with photos and mementos of people we love, flowers and traditional "requerdos." It was an evening of prayer, celebration and also a warm remembrance of our loved ones who have passed on. We express our many thanks to all who participated in the event, especially Deacon Guy, Diane Askren, Kim Ericson & Judy Whelchel for organizing a wonderful event. Food was delicious and children had great fun decorating cookies and scavenging during the Halloween scavenger hunt. This was indeed a fun activity for the whole church family.
